Unlike conventional online background removers that upload your files to remote cloud servers, Photo BG Remover runs the entire background removal pipeline (U2Net neural network via WebAssembly / ONNX Runtime) directly inside your web browser.
When you select or drop a photo into our workspace, the image is decoded, processed, masked, and exported entirely within your computer or mobile device's local memory. No image file, byte, preview, or pixel is ever uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any external server.
2. Data Collection & Analytics
We do not log, track, or collect your images, personal identity, or sensitive facial data. If basic web analytics are utilized, they only measure aggregated pageviews and non-identifying browser performance metrics to optimize site load speed.
3. Local Storage & Caching
To ensure repeat visits execute instantaneously, the static AI model file is cached locally in your browser's Cache API. You can clear this cache at any time through your web browser settings.
